We’re starting the week off pretty nice with this re-drop of the Anima Style RDA over on the virtual pages of Fasttech. I know they just lowered the price a quarter from the last drop but this time around they came out with 4 different colorways (copper, brass, stainless steel and black). Its time to step up your vertical coil builds for the Anima Style RDA because the deck is a little tight, but the small chamber packs a huge punch in flavor. It features a unique tri post design, 4 air flow holes, silver plated center pin and a 510 drip tip on top.
Plus, it looks like you can hybrid this onto your mini nemi. Score!

I had ordered one of the first drops a few days before the holiday over there. It didn’t make it out of the country in time but I got it within about 2 weeks using the China Post option. I had been looking around at 17mm drippers, and the most common complaints were that they got too hot to the lips and needed to be drilled out. This one took care of both of those problems very well, with adjustable airflow for dual or single coils and cooling fins at the top of the cap and drip tip. The drip tip is small and stealthy like the device, kinda like a short Stillare tip with fins added, and the adjustment ring is firm but easy to turn. The drip tip fit is great.
So, I took off the Anima’s bottom cap, removed the reverse-threaded 510 center post and put it on my Nemi clone minus it’s 510 top cap. It fit nicely so I reassembled the Anima, removed one of the negative posts, and put in some Koga cotton with a twisted .28 gauge, 2.5 mm ID, .8 ohm vertical coil. (The pics above are of the single coil airflow setting.) I hybridded it again, put in some of my ADV, took a few hits, and….when I regained consciousness, I measured it.
With a flat topped 14500, in the Nemi, it comes to about 102.1 mm including the drip tip. 14650 mode is a real stretch for the locking ring but it will still prevent firing at the 120mm length that you get. It’s doubtful that you’ll make a 14650 button top fit in hybrid mode.
You probably will not get huge clouds from this but for some great flavor and quiet use it will definitely get you through coffee with your friends or a trip to the store. (Don’t drip and drive.) The little thing gets hot but the cap and drip tip fins work great. I squirted a lot of juice in to see if it would leak and haven’t lost a drop, but you will have to drip often to keep it working correctly. Every aspect of this combination of atty and mod seems to have a purpose and works quite well, right down to the logo on the mod to keep it from being too slippy and the logo on the air flow ring to grip while turning to line up the little machined dots that indicate the airflow settings.
I’m ordering the copper Nemi and copper plated Anima from FT to see if it hits even harder. Meanwhile, that little monster is staring at me from over there, daring me to come at it so it can kick my ass again.
