Its not very often something comes along that is truly a one of a kind in the vape market. But, the Coil master 521 Tab is exactly that. Basically… the Coil Master 521 Tab is a device that you can build, test, burn & wick your coils on! It features an ohm meter, voltage meter, coil rebuilding deck, coil burning, reverse battery protection and OLED screen. In my opinion… it a pretty SEKSI device you can use to insure that the coils your building are not dangerous for the mod your using. And, the best part is that it is currently 20% off the MSRP. =)
Unfortunately it’s not as one of a kind as it looks….. A Korean vape company by the name of “the friday morning” (if you used to watch toddecigreviews you should be familiar with them) has an entire line of “tab” devices, all of which are equally as good looking as they are functional. Their device, “the burning tab master,” Is the absolute obvious inspiration for this item. The difference being that the BTM retails at about $200. The deficit is staggering and makes me wonder whether I wasted my money or if I’m just upset that there is now something similar for much cheaper. On a side note, unless this has been licensed out under “the friday morning,” or if they never had patents or TMs, etcetera, To start with…. That would effectively make this an American-made/sold clone of an Asian Device haha.
This isn’t actually “One of a kind” but actually a clone of the “Burning Tab Master” by “The Friday Morning” a company from Korea and they even call it a Tab….But I have to admit since this way less than the original which costs $220 I most definitely would be buying this over the original especially if works just as good. I just thought you might want to know where the idea came from.

Just because something performs the same functions as another product does NOT make it a clone. This thing is in no way shape or form a clone of Friday Mornings Burning Tab Master. When you post bull like that , you are only posting butt hurt because you werent in your right mind when you decided to give those theives over $200 for that 3d printed crap. Their mods as well are 3d plastic with a dna 40 and they are how much? Over $300 lol joke. Good on Coil Master for bringing this authentic piece to market at a “fair” price. Lastly just a little education for ya , you can not patent something you did not invent and not one of the functions on the BTM was invented by TFM and neither was a “box” dueces
In No way was I upset about said product. I was simply pointing out that it had been done before so as to correct the original post. Now my clone comment specifically was definitely a bit tongue in Cheek as I had found it humorously ironic. As for the patents, for the most part yes, I was incorrect in my statement, but was really just referring to general product laws and regs. Trademarks, On the other hand, are a different story all together. I was moreso just wondering from a personal curiosity standpoint If It had been licebsed at all because even just having the words “master” and “tab” in the name, as well as the fact that they definitely look similar (enough), is Definitely enough to win a trademark suit based on possible product confusion

No one was really jumping all over other people Clinton. I have no problem people saying what they feel. As long as its a discussion. When people start attacking others (or myself) and/or spamming… thats where I put my foot down and start blocking. With that said… I did make a mistake. I didn’t know that a Korean company put out a similar product already.

It also doesn’t have a replaceable fuse which I think is the big miss here. The website doesn’t state how low of a building the burner can handle and since TFM states on the website and the instructions thay the fuse is to protect the battery, I would assume that you would be able to use a higher amperage fuse as long as it fits.
It depends. If they use a specific amperage fuse, it could be protecting some other component that would fry if it gets more current than the fuse is rated for. Certain components on the circuit board could get messed up if that component sees significant current that is over the fuse rating. You might get away with it. I have no idea whether this is the case or not, but it could very well be.
