Here’s a good deal for anyone out there who has picked up one of the new 20700 box mods, such as the IJOY Captain PD270. 3fvape now has the IJOY 20700 batteries available for only $14.99 for a pair. Not a bad price at all—I was actually expecting these to be a bit more expensive. The only downside is that you’re going to be a mere penny away from free shipping (orders $15+). With that in mind, it would probably be worthwhile to throw another small item in the cart as well.

I don’t see what the gain is with these new size batteries , 15% more charge for 40-50% more money
It’s because 18650’s have some very clear limitations—there is always a tradeoff between amps and mAh. The LG HB4/HB6, for example can provide 30A…but they only have 1500mAh capacity. Batteries like the Samsung 30Q can give you 3000mAh, but only 20A. So you get one or the other. The big advantage with 20700’s is that you get plenty of BOTH: 30A/3000mAh. The only 18650 that even comes close is the Sony VTC5A (2500mAh/25A) and those can be expensive and often hard to find. Hope that helps!
