Jazzy Boba eJuice Review – Fancy a Cup?

Disclosure: The Jazzy Boba product line was sent to me without purchase from UltimateVapeDeals for the purposes of review (use coupon code “TURKEY” to get 25% off your next purchase). I will endeavor to provide a fair, unbiased, and comprehensive review of the products described below. The products described in the review below contain nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.

When I say “Herbal,” You Say “No Thanks.”

I’ve never been much of a coffee drinker. Instead, I’ve had a long-lasting adoration for tea, both hot and iced. And that love affair began when I was but a lad, and my family and I went to a Chinese buffet and my father ordered a pot of hot tea. It soon arrived at our table in an unassuming stainless steel pot with a single small porcelain cup. He poured himself a serving, and after he finished it, asked me if I’d like to try it. When I held the brew to my face, the delicate, floral aroma of jasmine flowers filled my nostrils, along with the earthy scent of freshly brewed black tea. And ever since, tea has been one of my obsessions. From Orange Pekoe and Earl Grey to Te Quan Yin and Lapsang Souchong, I love them all, but nostalgia always brings me back to that stout little yellow metal box full of Sunflower brand loose jasmine tea. So suffice it to say, when Chris and Co at UltimateVapeDeals offered to send me the Jazzy Boba line of juices to review, including the jasmine tea-flavored Jazzy ejuice, I leapt on the opportunity.

Jazzy Boba eJuice

Jazzy Boba eJuice is the original flavor in the line and indeed is what the line is named after. It’s flavored like a jasmine-infused tea with milk, to which is added pencil eraser-sized orbs of syrup-soaked tapioca. When you open the bottle and take a whiff, you’re stuck instantly with the scent of jasmine; while most commonly used in America as a scent additive for baby powder or perfumes, it is commonly used as a flavoring for tea in China and other Asian countries. It’s floral, soft, and sweet.

Tasting it on the finger, the flavor explodes in your mouth, a burst of jasmine engulfed in a tsunami of sweet milk, with not the slightest taste of the nicotine contained therein. And boy, if you think that’s good, then you’re in for a treat.

Vaping this juice is like filling your mouth with the most profoundly delicious, milky, sweet jasmine tea you’ve never had. The taste is so smooth, so rich and luxurious, without a hint of a throat hit. The taste lingers in your mouth for an amazing length of time after you exhale, if you somehow can manage to bring yourself to not chain vape the juice. And the clouds are the fluffiest, pure white plumes of joy that you could hope for.

If you’re lucky enough to live or visit southeastern states during the spring or summer, on cool-to-warm evenings, you might catch the scent of Star Jasmine on the breeze. It’s a beautiful, alluring aroma that makes the less humid evenings here a magical time to appreciate the outdoors. Vaping Jazzy Boba eJuice is a similar experience to this, and I know that when this bottle runs out, I’ll be getting more for myself. I know that there’s a reasonably respectable selection of tea-flavored eJuices on the market, but they’d have to be truly remarkable for them to be able to hold a candle to the flavor that Jazzy Boba brings to the table. And in spite of that, this isn’t even the best of the three in the line.

Manggo Boba eJuice

Manggo Boba eJuice (yes, with two G’s) is next up, and hoo boy, does this tick all my boxes for a great ejuice. Starting off with the base milky tea flavor that the line is based on, they subtract the jasmine and instead add a scrumptious splash of mango puree to the mix.

When you open the bottle and get a big sniff, your nostrils are filled with the scent of mango. Not candied mango, or dried mango, but a realistic mango scent. That interplay between sweet, tart, and slightly earthy that a fresh, ripe mango has. A finger taste gives you that mango, along with the milky tea notes that form the base of the eJuice line.

Vaping it, the milk tea washes over your palate on the inhale, followed shotgun by the mango flavor, a bit more subdued now than when you initially tried it. However, on the exhale, the mango rises up out of the milk and fills your mouth, while not completely overshadowing the creamy, sweet essence.

After vaping through more than 30mls of both Jazzy and Manggo, I found that the Manggo edged out the original Jazzy eJuice, if only slightly, due to the complexity and balance of its flavor profile. I’ve vaped a lot of mango-flavored eJuices in my life, as it’s one of my favorite fruits. My father was allergic to mango skin, so I never had the chance to enjoy it growing up, but when I became an adult and discovered how delicious it is, I never looked back. Suffice it to say, it’s been one of my personal vaping journeys to find a really true-to-life mango eJuice flavor, and so far, Manggo Boba is the one I’ve tried that’s come closest to it in terms of authentic taste. It’s so good that I vaped the bottle they sent to me for review and bought a second out of my own pocket. Definitely worth a try if you like mango eJuices or the idea of a Boba eJuice intrigues you.

Dewwy Boba eJuice

Dewwy Boba is the third and final juice in the Boba line, and while I personally can’t vape it all day long, I can say that it stands up with its companions as a great juice. Again, using the milky tea flavor base, they add the aroma of ripe, sweet honeydew melon puree to the mix.

Opening the bottle, you catch a whiff of fresh melon, along with the creamy undertone of the milk. Taking a dab on your hand and tasting it, you get the full, sweet taste of honeydew, scrumptious and mouthwatering, paired with the sweet milky tea, and the tiniest hint of peppery nicotine at the back of your throat.

Once you load it up and vape it, the flavor remains as delectable as before, but the honeydew mellows out upon application of heat, allowing the sweet milk tea to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the melon flavor rather than sitting in the back seat. The tea, however, is a kind and thoughtful companion, fading into the shadows and allowing the honeydew to dominate to lingering aftertaste as you exhale.

I’ve sampled more than half a dozen honeydew flavored ejuices at this point, and they all fall on a spectrum. Some, like Honeydew Melon Chew from Twist, are overpowering and sickeningly sweet, to the point where they’re on the verge of being unpalatable. Some juices use it as an accompanying flavor, to round out a fruit blend and give it a delicate sweetness. And then you have Dewwy Boba, which allows the pale green melon to stand on its own merits, not cloying, but also not bland, with a delicious but uncomplicated back end to make the flavor pop. It’s authentic to the real-world flavor without clubbing you over the head, and so I consider it to be the best honeydew-flavored ejuice I’ve yet to try.

Final Thoughts

My only regret and negative aspect of the Boba line of juices is that they don’t appear to sell them in 120ml bottles anymore; after a thorough search on the internet, I found only one vendor carrying the Manggo Boba in a size larger than 60mls. The problem with that is unless you order multiple bottles of these juices, you’ll run out long before you can get another shipment. I try not to be hyperbolic in my reviews as much as possible, but when I said that I had to buy a second bottle of Manggo just to finish this review, I wasn’t joking. You will drain these bottles in record time and be left wanting more. My advice is to buy at least two at a time, of any of the three flavors. Any of these are prime contenders for ADVs and you will resent their absence when they’re not on your desk or shelf.

Lukas

Having started vaping as a way to stop using cigarettes, Lukas metamorphosed into a regular vape enthusiast over the past seven years. Utilizing his extensive knowledge and problem-solving skills as a regular at his local vape shop, it only made sense to parley that, along with his writing skills, into making vape juice reviews. While conspicuously absent from social media, the 35-year-old former chef now uses his free time by making spectacular home-cooked meals, reading voraciously, and dabbling in multiplayer computer games. Oh yeah, and he vapes too.
