Honestly, I was a little apprehensive at first when I read 50mg each.  That seems like quite a high dosage per piece.  Generally, if you take too much CBD it will make you tired.  I knew that I didn’t have anything to do for the rest of the day, so I tried a half.  After waiting for about an hour, I had zero calming effects.  Ok, let’s just finish off the rest of this little worm and see if I experience any calming effects.  Nada.  Ok, so I can’t say that I wasn’t experiencing any of the traditional effects that CBD brings, but at 50mg I would have imagined that I would feel a little more relaxed.

Night Two

This time around I decided that I would try a whole gummy 2 hours before bed.  As I lay there, I didn’t really notice any difference at all.  Now I do know that edible CBD products can take anywhere up to 2 hours to take effect.  Maybe I am used to much quicker acting CBD.  At a 50mg dose, I would have expected to be much sleepier than what I ended up being.  My sleep was as restless as it normally is without CBD.  Even if they didn’t help with my sleep quality, I’m still getting all the benefits of taking CBD.

Maybe a Better Daytime Edible

Admittedly I was a little sad that these gummies weren’t helping me achieve the sleep that I usually get with other CBD products.  Instead of trying them at night, let’s see what happens if I try taking them throughout the day.  Instead of reaching for my vape, I decided that I would instead reach for a sweet CBD gummy.  This is where I believe that these little neon worms shine!  I tried my best to space out the dosing throughout the day and by the end of the day, I had consumed 200mg of CBD.  I experienced a much more peaceful state of mind throughout the day.  It was a more convenient experience rather than fiddling around with tincture bottles and a vape, that’s for sure.
