The Cloupor Mini Box Mod has just made its way over to FastTech in two different colorways (black & silver) for just $34.54 with the “XMAS14” coupon code. Is it just me or does the Cloupor Mini go head to head with the IPV Mini? Both are 30 watt mini box mods. Both take an 18650 battery. The Cloupor does have the advantage with supporting 0.45 ohm atomizer vs 0.5 with the IPV mini. But other than that… the Cloupor costs about $20 less on average. Only reason I can think of not buying it in favor of the IPV is the support history of Cloupor. But that shouldn’t be a problem if you don’t upgrade your firmware any time soon. =)

I’ve heard that the IPV Mini can go into autofire mode with the wrong button sequence. The problems with Cloupor, lately, are famous. (maybe slightly deservedly) I am still very interested in how this will shake out. The old Cloupor dna 30 clones are good ones. No telling if they tried to “improve” yet.

Even if you don’t update your firmware (T5 owner) there are random power offs and the occasional glitches with their products! So not impressed with their stuff except for the power amplification is excellent.
