I have one of these from the first round. I really like it. You have the function of a Freakshow, which is great, and a chamber that is reduced even more than a Derringer’s. It’s a perfect compliment to a SMPL or Calvert mod. The deck is skirted by the sleeve so it looks more seamless. The same rules apply as a Derringer for building: Keep cotton to a minimal amount for best flavor. A Derringer drip tip is a great choice for it, as well, and the fins keep your lips cool. Even at a modest .8 ohms, 30 gauge, 6 wrap, spaced, dual coils, it’s a great performer.
Is the top cap still a two piece design?
No. The space is really small now. That extra metal of the top cap would have made it too tight, and perhaps dangerous, without making the whole thing taller.
Definitely going to get one. The price is right and I love my freakshow.
