Not a bad deal on such a popular (and hard to get) battery.
From what I’ve heard Sony never sold for consumer use. They’re meant to be hooked up in giant arrays for electric cars and such. Distributors don’t know what batteries are used for so some people buy them to resell individually. The reason Sony batteries disappeared is they built an entire new factory. Production returned awhile ago but they are filling their largest (car manufacturers) orders first. Once caught up small orders will be filled and they’ll be all over again.
