In case anyone is wondering about the differences, iJoy made some nice improvements with this version, specifically when it comes to durability.  It seems the Captain 2 was intended to compete with rugged devices like the Geekvape Aegis Legend, which is why it was originally a bit more expensive than your average kit.  I was also happy to see that they switched to a centered 510 connection.  The only backward step is battery compatibility (dual 18650 as opposed to 20700).

Now that there’s a new version on the market, the price of the original iJoy Captain PD270 Box Mod is really starting to go down.  2 vendors are now selling it for under 20 bucks!  First of all, it’s on sale over at 3avape for $19.60.  Plus, you can still use coupon code “Rock15” to get an extra 15% off your order (must be logged in for the code to work).  That should bring the price down to only $16.66!  It sounds like a fantastic deal for a dual-20700 box mod, regardless of how long it’s been on the market.
